Susan Sessions and her team have been a fabulous source of guidance for our two children. Since starting with Susan two years ago, our daughter has progressed from struggling with math facts to performing beyond her grade level. Our son has learned to enjoy reading and math, and to participate confidently in class. Susan’s team excels at tailoring their approach to each of their needs, and have always been flexible with our changing schedules. We are incredibly happy to have found Susan and her talented team.

Susan Sessions and her team of educators create a very nurturing environment that provides students of various learning abilities the right strategies for their particular needs. My six-year-old lacked confidence, hated school and struggled with reading. They have turned things around with him and he now enjoys school and is reading on level. They have also been instrumental in assisting my 8th grader with algebra and test prepping. Susan Sessions Tutoring is an excellent resource at keeping the summer slide at bay for our family.

Susan Sessions and the dedicated educators who work with her at Susan Sessions Tutoring have been a tremendous gift to my children and to our family.
The learning atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it is clear that teachers working there have a true love of children and a passion for education. Instruction is individualized to meet my children's different learning needs, and they love coming to “Ms. Sessions.” My oldest son started tutoring services in the second grade, attending just once per week, and now both of my children attend on a daily basis. As a working mother, knowing that homework is completed and that my kids are receiving additional educational enrichment is reassuring. This leaves time for us to engage in other learning activities and in having fun together in the evenings, which has been a game-changer in our home! In addition to providing a welcoming educational environment for children, Susan is also a wonderful resource for parents. She is quick to offer an encouraging word and has a wise, yet humorous, perspective on parenting, education, and living that I often look forward to at the end of the day.

Our family has a long history with Susan Sessions, as she was our oldest son’s second grade teacher at Harvard Elementary, and now we have a first grader and fourth grader who we are so fortunate to have attending Susan Sessions Tutoring. We personally love Susan because we have found her throughout the years to be consistently nurturing, uplifting, kind and dedicated to education. Her real talent, though, is in her understanding that all children are different, and her uncanny ability to tune into exactly how to best motivate each individual child. Her teaching style is tailored to bring out the best in each child’s academic abilities while nurturing their sense of worth in a way that makes children want to learn. Susan is a great asset to the neighborhood and our educational community.
